US Interest Rate Trader
How You Can Make an Impact
We are seeking an experienced trader to add expertise and strategy to our existing interest rate trading desk. The role will entail developing and modelling new trades/strategies in the US interest rate space. The candidate will have a strong understanding of the key macroeconomic drivers of interest rates along with strong knowledge of monetary policy and key reference rates. This is seen as a key role in the growth of our interest rate trading.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage new trades and strategies in the US interest rate space
Manage and add to/optimise existing portfolios within our current risk parameters
Collaborate with existing team members to discuss/model key events and drivers for interest rates
Add new expertise/insight to the further foster the desk growth in this space
What you’ll Need
A bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum 3 years of demonstrable success in an interest rate trading or advisory role
Deep knowledge of the fundamental drivers of the various components/curves in the fixed income space
Proven proficiency in designing and executing trading strategies based on detailed market analysis
Professional poise and excellent interpersonal communication skills
