How You Can Make An Impact
As a Data Analyst in the Mid/Back Office Tech Team at Geneva Trading you will be responsible for the creation and optimization of data processes, development within our Qlik Sense dashboard, and ownership of our post-trade regulatory reporting and audit trail functions. You will work with internal stakeholders across the organization to drive this area of our business forward as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate has prior experience with the implementation of efficient business intelligence and compliance data processes and a track record of ensuring that reports are completed with the highest accuracy and quality within deadlines.
- Own the post-trade and audit trail reporting function for the firm, including the management, maintenance, reconciliation, and optimization of daily reporting to 3rd parties.
- Qlik Senses dashboard design and development for middle and back-office groups, including accounting and compliance.
- Evaluate and support existing ETL and audit trail processes.
- Lead the design, develop, and testing of new ETL processes when needed.
- Assist DBA with administering our Microsoft SQL Server databases.
What You'll Need
- Academic degree in Computer Science or another STEM-related field of study
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data engineer
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in the following areas:
- SQL
- Git, Python, and/or Bash scripting
- Linux and Windows
- Visual Studio, SSMS
- ETL Processes
- Dashboard development and data load transformations in Qlik Sense, Microsoft Power BI, or similar platform
- C# experience a plus
- Strong troubleshooting experience
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter with proven ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to plan and prioritize time to meet deadlines.
- This role is open in Chicago, IL or Dublin, Ireland office.
