As an Experienced Discretionary Trader at Geneva Trading, you will have a significant opportunity to impact the firm profoundly. Work alongside talented individuals, leveraging our state-of-the-art technology to capitalize on market opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses a robust work ethic, maintains a competitive spirit, and has a demonstrated history of profitability in futures trading, with at least 3 years of experience trading Futures on the CME, ICE, and/or Eurex.
Responsibilities:
Identify, maintain, and enhance trading strategies and business opportunities.
Utilize our industry-leading technology to expand existing profitable strategies across global markets.
Research and analyze trading performance and explore new market opportunities.
Adopt a systematic and data-driven approach to trading during fundamental events.
Contribute ideas and participate in team projects.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the technology team to understand, maintain, and enhance our electronic trading systems.
Ensure compliance with the business’s core risk and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field of study; Eurex qualification is highly preferred.
A proven record of 3+ years of profitability in a futures trading environment.
Basic programming experience.
Exceptional product knowledge, trading methodology, and market insight.
Self-motivated individual with a competitive personality and a strong drive to succeed.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Comprehensive understanding and appreciation of the regulatory environment.
