About the Role

The FourKites platform offers a unique approach to tracking freight and managing exceptions - it connects to ELD/GPS devices already installed in trucks to provide reliable location updates in real-time. The Implementation process is one of the most critical phases in a client’s lifecycle. The Implementation Manager is the face and voice of each new client account, responsible for managing simultaneous Implementations in flight.


  • Responsible for leading and executing the implementation of our Enterprise level customers to the FourKites platform
  • Maintain responsibility for complete execution of the roll-out within the allotted 90 day implementation timeframe
  • Create and maintain project plans for each customer
  • Lead web-based kick-off meetings and customer trainings
  • Implement multiple customers simultaneously
  • Provide support to Account Executives + Sales Engineers during the Sales cycle
  • Create and maintain standardized documentation around internal and external processes
  • Full ownership and accountability of customer satisfaction and on-time delivery throughout the Implementation phase
  • Ability to speak knowledgeably on all technical integration options available within implementation
  • Create customized training packages to present in both web-based and onsite forums
  • Lead weekly status calls with customers, discussing project status, best practices and progress to implementation complete
  • Ability to train and clearly explain the benefits, best practices and functionalities of the FourKites solution
  • Support Sales Engineers during prospects pilot engagement with FourKites
  • Configure the FourKites platform, to fit the clients needs and requirements
  • Facilitate hand-off from Sales to Implementation
  • Facilitate hand-off from Implementation to Customer Success
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new members to the Implementation team
  • Ensure all metrics within the Implementation page in Salesforce are accurate and up-to-date

Experience requirements:

  • 4 years of experience in software implementation or project management
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Demonstrates a strong drive for efficiency, resolving problems and getting the work done in a timely, quality-focused manner
