FourKites is seeking an ambitious, creative, and metrics-driven Director, Demand Generation to lead our demand creation strategy, fuel our sales growth and support a growing revenue operation. 

As the Director, Demand Generation, you will be a key leader on the Marketing team and be primarily responsible for the planning, development and execution of innovative multi-touch demand generation programs, utilizing both inbound and outbound tactics. Additionally, you will accelerate demand through the sales and marketing funnel, ultimately meeting quarterly and annual revenue growth goals. Based in our Chicago office, you will be leading a team of passionate digital and field marketing professionals to drive quality demand for FourKites. 

What you’ll be doing: 

We are looking for someone who will be responsible for designing innovative and engaging offers and calls to action, selecting targets and determining tactical mix, and establishing best practices for demand generation programs and goals. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute creative, engaging, and measurable demand creation programs that drive revenue
  • Interlock with field sales leadership to ensure agreement on priorities, adjusting as required by changing market conditions and emerging opportunities
  • Manage the end-to-end lead management process in conjunction with sales operations and marketing operations, including lead capture, nurturing via portfolio marketing, and SLAs
  • Implement testing methodologies to enhance the demand creation process, including response and conversion rates and multivariate testing
  • Develop effective ABM strategies with the Account Executive team that influence target accounts to drive pipeline and improve win rates
  • Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the impact of demand creation activities on sales pipeline, revenue, and sales cycle length
  • Evaluate, select, and manage outside vendors that contribute to demand creation programs including direct marketing agencies, digital agencies, and creative resources

About the team: 

This newly created team has doubled in 2019 with a mix of field, digital, operations, content and solutions marketing members who are not only ambitious but forward thinking and creative. While building a strong partnership with Sales they are also dedicated to defining best in class Enterprise marketing solutions. 

Who you are: 

  • 10+ years of B2B demand creation in digital and field marketing such as content marketing, SEO/SEM, trade shows, webinars, and leveraging social media to seed demand
  • SaaS or enterprise software experience preferred
  • Passionate about creating and implementing successful demand creation, lead nurturing, and pipeline acceleration programs
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, ABM, web analytics and campaign analytics tools
  • Experience building and managing a shared demand waterfall with Sales
  • Demonstrated skills in positioning and differentiating products and services
  • Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
  • Juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or other related field
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences
  • Team player with cross functional project leadership skills
