Forum One is looking for a Business Development Associate in Arlington, VA. The Business Development Associate will be a key member of the Business Development team, supporting the team by creating high-quality, successful proposals and sales pitches for mission-focused organizations including nonprofits and government. They will be responsible for providing proposal coordination, proposal writing, and editing support to ensure that every proposal and presentation differentiates us from the competition, goes in on time, demonstrates high quality, and wins us exciting new work.

What you’ll do:

Coordinate and support all aspects of the business development lifecycle to submit winning proposals
Research, write, and edit content for client-facing proposals and company resources
Coordinate and consolidate inputs from account managers, sales team, and technical/subject matter experts
Develop and edit pitches to align with win themes and comply with requirements
Review and edit written content for grammar, style, tone, clarity, and consistency

What you bring to the table:

2+ years of professional experience in proposal writing or coordination; marketing, sales, or strategic communications
Digital agency or government proposal experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated persuasive writing skills, editing skills, and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks

What would be nice:

Experience in digital strategy, communications, or technology
Experience and success in fast-paced and deadline-driven environments
