As an Senior Associate Strategic Pricing, you’ll join a team of experts whose mission is to drive growth by converting client opportunities into awarded business. You’ll actively engage in client strategy, securing new clients and nurturing growth in the expansion of existing clients.
The Strategic Pricing team serves as a critical connector between the multiple service and product teams to design and assemble comprehensive and attractive client proposals. We work across many groups within Flexport including Sales, Account Management, Tradelane Management, Finance, Analytics, and Product. Shoulder to shoulder in a team of cross functional leaders, we own setting the globalized standards and leading toward automation to achieve Flexport’s scalable up-market success.
- Design, build, and package innovative offerings by matching customer requirements with Flexport products and services
- Provide pricing and customer offerings to Sales and Account Management globally
- Activate and maintain customer specific service offerings in our system that allow our teams to quote and book accurately
- Contribute to projects that aim to improve global and local Pricing and proposal excellence
- Use analytics to provide insights to our commercial teams based on sources such as customer portfolio data, rate feedback data, RFP data
You should have:
- BA/BS degree and minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain, Consulting, or related fields
- Excitement to support others in achieving their goals and a proactive, team oriented mindset
- Exceptional analytical and planning skills, an eye for detail, and an irresistible drive to continuously improve processes in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly
