THE POSITION

We are currently looking for an experienced Media and Demand Generation Director – Marketing Partnerships to lead a team to drive significant revenue growth through the management of our marketing partnership programs which include media integrations and partnership activations, influencers/endorsers and affiliate(pay for performance) marketing. Our partnerships include channels such as television, radio and digital including social(paid and organic), display, video and email.  The ideal candidate will know how to develop and navigate key relationships to manage integrated campaigns focused on product/editorial integrations, content and talent development, activation and distribution of content that is live, pre-produced and syndicated.  They will also have deep experience in stewarding and negotiating a variety of best in class deal structures across the various programs.

 

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Responsible for the successful management of all KPIs of our media integrations and content activation, influencer/talent marketing and pay for performance programs within respective areas
  • Source and negotiate key integrated media, talent/influencer and content deals
  • Manage direct day to day and strategic relationships with key talent/influencers as well as with external agency/talent/partnership management firms
  • Foster strong collaboration and gather inputs from internal teams including product and product marketing, risk and trading, growth, integrated campaigns, content, creative and operations, compliance and legal
  • Manage the entirety of scheduling and production activities required for original, custom or co-created content activation and distribution for both live and pre-recorded content across our media integrations, marketing partnerships, content activations
  • Oversee deal tracking, monitoring, closing, and other deal/partnership related activities as needed
  • Develop a test/learn and data measurement/attribution framework of best practices for your programs to help determine the success and scalability
  • Foster meaningful and beneficial relationships with all partners
  • Oversee the management of planning, tracking and execution of your program budgets
  • Conduct and oversee valuations affiliate partners, talent, integrations and distribution deals as needed
  • Set program level team structure and resource allocation to support FanDuel Group businesses
  • Establish and manage your program roadmap from development to implementation and insight
  • Bring more business wide exposure into key programs to drive further collaboration and decision-making
  • Manage negotiations for respective areas in high value and/or complex affiliate, partner or talent deals and partner/agency scope and compensation models
  • Stay ahead of marketplace and program trends and incorporate into broader programs
  • Foster an environment that encourages intelligent risk taking, innovation and creativity
  • Direct project and campaign prioritization with functions outside of the team through strong business case development and influence
  • Manage, coach and develop an internal team

 

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Several years of experience in marketing partnerships within media, entertainment and sports
  • Multi-channel campaign, affiliate, partnership experience across traditional, digital/social across a local and national footprint
  • Meaningful experience working with performance marketing and media metrics (CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC & LTV) and understanding of the utilization and relationship between them
  • Experience working with and developing relationships with affiliate networks, content creators, production studios/teams, programming, media, talent and sales organizations
  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in a performance marketing role at either an agency or on the operator side
  • Experience working with a consumer internet business with high customer engagement and relevant KPIs is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate a highly regulated and complex industry
  • Resilient and creative minded with a practical application to driving business outcomes
  • Strong knowledge of the sports media landscape with deep relationships
  • Experience negotiating favorable rates and deal structures with partners
  • Ability to succinctly communicate both verbally and in writing, and provide clear direction and updates on projects
  • Ability to interface with a wide range of internal teams and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Meticulous attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, project management skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Knowledge or understanding of the business and culture of sports and gaming preferred
  • Experience working across multiple businesses within a larger corporate structure is preferred
