We are seeking a dynamic Chief of Staff to support the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in driving our organization’s strategic vision and ensuring seamless operational efficiency. The Chief of Staff will serve as a critical partner to the CTO, coordinating initiatives and facilitating communication across internal teams and external stakeholders, including the executive board. This role will also involve collaboration with the Strategy team reporting to the CEO and the Project Management team under the COO to achieve key objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Oversight and Vision Development

  • Collaborate with the CTO and leadership team to develop and refine the organization’s strategic vision and long-term goals.
  • Assist in translating strategic objectives into actionable plans and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall company priorities.
  • Monitor progress against strategic goals and provide regular updates to the CTO and executive team.

Operational Coordination

  • Oversee day-to-day operations related to technology initiatives, ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and develop solutions to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to drive projects and initiatives forward.

Stakeholder Management and Communication

  • Act as a liaison between the CTO, internal teams, and key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of the vision, costs, and status of key initiatives.
  • Prepare and review strategic communications, presentations, and reports on behalf of the CTO.

Organizational Development and Culture

  • Foster a high-performance culture that aligns with the organization’s values and mission.
  • Identify opportunities for organizational development and support talent management initiatives in collaboration with HR.
  • Ensure that all team members have the resources, information, and tools necessary to succeed in their roles.

Special Projects and Risk Management

  • Assist in managing multiple competing priorities, ensuring that important tasks are tracked and executed efficiently.
  • Identify and assess potential risks that may impact operations and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive support, consulting, operations, or a similar role, preferably within the trading or financial technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of the trading industry, including familiarity with trading platforms and technology that supports trading operations.
  • Proven experience in managing technology initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and diplomacy skills, comfortable engaging with senior management and board members.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a strong ability to synthesize information and prepare strategic documents.
  • Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of technology operations and processes.
