Downtown Music Services is looking for a Manager, Marketing & Account Management to join our team. This position will be based in London, UK and specifically support our distribution clients.  This is a great opportunity to work in the music industry and be at the forefront of the music + tech landscape.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for cultivating and strengthening relationships with key editorial, marketing and label relations teams at streaming services in the UK
  • Contributes to the overall digital release strategy as it pertains to DSPs/streaming 
  • Liaise with international territories for localized campaign strategy
  • Collaborates with Marketing & Account Management teams to execute successful artist campaigns across the DSP spectrum.
  • Communicate streaming, play-listing and digital sales and streaming results throughout the DMS organization
  • Prepare reports and key-results for priority campaigns

You are / have:

  • Deep knowledge of digital distribution and an established network within relevant artist, industry and influencer communities
  • Knowledge of current and future trends 
  • Deep understanding of emerging and established streaming and social platforms
  • Understanding of industry best practices for various accounts & retailers, marketing and operational front
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 
  • Experience building and maintaining internal and external relationships
  • Experience writing pitches and combining multiple elements of a campaign into a cohesive story.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to set and consistently meet deadlines
  • Experience analyzing data from Spotify for Artists, iTunes Connect, Chartmetric, etc.
