Position Summary

Responsible for supporting assigned client group(s) and for the delivery and realization of all HR initiatives, programs and practices. Leverages existing resources and introducing best practices into the Talent Management function. Works closely with the APAC HR Head and local leadership, colleagues, and stakeholders to identify and maximize opportunities to leverage talent to achieve the internal team's business objectives.  

Additionally, may serve as project leader for one of many initiatives across Domo.  Responsible for the continual monitoring and improvement of any and all HR services within their assigned client groups and the development of management capability to effectively execute their role as leaders within the organization. 

Key Responsibilities

  • To roll-out a new local HR platform for Domo India that aligns to Domo’s global HR strategy and approaches;
  • Supporting India’s senior leadership and all its employees;
  • Responsible for building positive relationships and understanding clients’ businesses to drive the effectiveness and efficiency of people management;
  • Works directly with global management, local leadership to identify opportunities, improve organization efficiency, enhance employee engagement;
  • Raises issues and work collaboratively to identify solutions that meet the needs of the client and champion those initiatives to success;
  • Addresses employee relations and morale issues, and develops action plans to resolve the issues;
  • Consults with managers to drive best practices and tailored solutions to realization;
  • Drives a high-performance culture in partnership with client group management by implementing the High-Performance Culture roadmap;
  • Ensure compliance to and consistent application of HR policies and practices;
  • Inform and advise employees in the clients on HR matters, such as performance issues, compensation questions and development opportunities;
  • Advise and consult on termination issues.  Conduct exit interviews;
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 5 plus years of experience in Human Resources, preferably experience in a tech start-up;
  • Experience with navigating through complex organizations to drive initiatives through to their successful conclusion;
  • Ability to act as an internal consultant, make recommendations, determine organizational needs, and influence Talent Management strategy;
  • Ability to manage and lead the development and implementation of strategic plans that align with evolving corporate & HR strategies;
  • Ability to lead as a relationship builder, advisor, and results oriented change agent;
  • Experience working with senior leaders in a global organization, along with working with teams outside of local country;
  • A BA or BS degree in HR, business, or related disciplines;
  • 5-10 years of experience with Human Resources as a generalist or specialist within the high-tech industry with a focus on business partnering;
  • Experience with building and delivering employee, manager, and leadership development solutions;
  • Possession of excellent people management and leadership skills.
