The Sales Operations Compensation Analyst will work with the global sales operations team, sales leaders, and finance to create and maintain sales compensation plans. This role will streamline processes and become a trusted advisor for sales leaders, helping them incent proper behavior and identify risk. This role will drive all aspects of the sales compensation planning and execution cycle including annual planning, plan distribution, plan performance analysis, and dispute resolution. This position will also be cross-trained to support Domo’s Deal Desk and Order Operations functions as needed based on volume.
Construct and clarify Sales Compensation Plan Terms & Conditions;
Participate in the annual planning cycle;
Advise sales leaders as needed on compensation plans and strategy;
Provide and implement recommendations that streamline and automate processes;
Document and flowchart business processes;
Maintain a document library including templates, FAQ sheets, process and procedure documents, etc.;
Use a consultative approach with various business groups to gather requirements and fulfill requests.
Demonstrate attention to detail while still being able to see the bigger picture;
Have a proven track record of success managing and administering SaaS compensation plans and making data-supported recommendations to executives;
Have a solid understanding of multiple compensation plan structures;
Have experience implementing and executing business process;
Have 3+ years of experience in sales compensation or relevant roles (i.e., sales operations, FP&A, Accounting);
Have a degree and/or prolonged experience in compensation, sales operations, FP&A, or accounting.
