Position Summary: 

As a Senior Solution Consultant, you will work as part of a dedicated team to develop innovative and creative new product demonstrations, design new demo interfaces and demonstration configurations. You will also have the opportunity to deliver demos to customers provide technical sales support that will win over new prospects. The goal of this team is to ensure a high level of field support so that we can provide the best customer focused sales experience. This includes understanding the needs of perspective customers’ businesses and translating those needs into a demonstration of Domo's functional and technical capabilities, managing pilot implementation projects, and working with sales team to communicate differentiated messaging in proposals. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Understand customer's goals and challenges and establish Domo's product as the best solution available; 
  • Manage all technical aspects of a complex sell in conjunction with experienced field personnel; 
  • Present Domo technology, infrastructure, security and roadmap; 
  • Respond effectively to RFIs, RFPs, and prospects' technical diligence questions; 
  • Qualifying customers' requirements and effectively articulating Domo's ability to meet these requirements; 
  • Work with the Account Executive to build effective strategies to drive sales into F500 Customers; 
  • Ensuring the success of customer PoC/Pilots through hands-on delivery, effective management of acceptance criteria and issue escalation/resolution; 
  • Partner education and deals & support maximizing Domo's success through effective mentoring and product positioning; 
  • Developing and delivering exceptional company/product presentations and demonstrations 1:1 and 1:many. 

Job Requirements: 

  • 5+ experience as a Solutions Consultant or Sales Engineer within an enterprise software/IT/BI organization with heavy client facing experience; 
  • Knowledge of all things Data (Databases RBMS, NoSQL, Data Flow, Data Mapping);  
  • Strong proficiency with SQL; 
  • Know how to work with REST API’s;
  • Experience with R or Python highly regarded;
  • Experience selling Analytics and/or BI solutions; 
  • Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team to solve business and technical problems; 
  • Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills; 
  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment; 
  • Knowledge of related applications, SaaS models, relational databases and web technology; 
  • B.S. Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline, OR equivalent professional work experience; 
  • Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency;
  • Entrepreneurial experience and attitude; 
  • Handle details accurately and in a timely manner;
  • Self-directed and resourceful.
