Qualifications
5 to 10 years of experience
Experienced in SolidWorks modeling, large assemblies, and drawing creation with GD&T
Experience with low to medium-volume production machinery or consumer
Products
Experience in the product lifecycle, from concept through production
Fundamental analytical skills including FEA, CDD, CFD, FMEA, and MBD
Willingness to learn and research unfamiliar technologies and disciplines
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Pneumatics and Fluids system design familiarity
Self-motivated and independent thinker
Responsibilities
In this role, you will participate in all aspects of the production process flow from new product development, subsystem assembly, to integration testing
Design ownership in SolidWorks from simple parts to large assemblies
Will work in collaboration with hardware, software, process, and applications engineering
Work with vendors to introduce new products as well as improve the cost, quality, develop testing, and implement changes in orders and delivery
Develop, document, and deploy test plans for mechanical, electrical, and optical components and subsystems
Guide new product introduction to manufacturing from prototype through pilot and production release
Deliver and propose continuous improvement projects
Update and produce assembly and testing documentation
