About the role:
We're currently looking for a Senior Product Manager, Data to lead the strategy and execution of Demandbase’s core data products. The Demandbase ABM platform offers B2B marketers key insights about when their potential customers are in the market to buy their products and when employees from their customers visit their website. These insights are only possible through applying our machine learning and NLP technology to proprietary petabyte-scale datasets. As the owner of data products at Demandbase, it will be your job to work with a world-class team of data engineers and scientists to drive innovation of these products, so that we can better serve our customers and stay ahead of the competition.
Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Demandbase offices will be closed for the foreseeable future and all positions are remote until further notice.
What you’ll be doing:
- Define the product roadmap based on customer needs, competitive analysis, and market opportunities
- Partner with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to execute on the roadmap
- Establish the product vision, strategy, and goals for your product area
- Build alignment across cross-functional teams through clear communication, strategic influence, and reliable and consistent delivery
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field
- 2+ years of product management experience
- 1+ years engineering experience
- Proficiency in SQL
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make complex ideas easy to understand
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience working with executives, with the ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence others
- Strong track record of shipping products customers love
- Startup experience (less than 500 employees) is strongly preferred
