Senior IT Operations Engineer: Enterprise Systems

About Dataiku:

The team:

IT Operations are critical to the success of Dataiku employees around the world. The IT Operations team is responsible for the governance of the core services, applications and APIs that serve as an Enterprise Applications Ecosystem here at Dataiku. Using an array of different platforms, APIs, databases, protocols and data formats, the team ensures that the data and the business processes intersecting in this ecosystem are highly efficient, secured and compliant with our IT policies and standards.

The opportunity:

Dataiku is looking for a talented Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer who will be in charge of Dataiku's Enterprise Systems.

The main scope covers the large SaaS-based enterprise systems operated by Dataiku for the Finance, Revenue and People Departments. Currently, these systems are Netsuite, Salesforce, Coupa and Workday.

The area of responsibility consists in managing the corporate IT aspects for these systems, including:

  • Configuration

Security

Compliance with Dataiku policies and certifications

Business continuity

  • Integrations

With Dataiku’s core IT platform (Identity and collaboration tools)

Data exchange between these systems or with external ones

  • Migration and new systems deployments

 

You will: 

  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to:

identify gaps and design automated solutions

ensure consistency of technical approaches, development standards and global IT configurations

  • Design, develop, and maintain integration flows using an array of different platforms, APIs, databases, protocols and data formats in the form of scalable full-stack tools that have a company-wide impact
  • Supervise the required developments using internal teams and/or contractors; grow the internal integration team as necessary
  • Communicate and document technical details to stakeholders of different technical levels (VP IT, CTO, CFO, Sales Operations, People Operations, Software Engineers, …)
  • Manage the IT Infrastructure used to exchange with government entities and have access to: 

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) controlled data 

CUI (Controlled Unclassified Info) NOFORN data

other U.S. classified data

  • Be a member of Dataiku's Corporate IT Management Team

 

You are:

  • Hands-on, with technical experience designing, building, and deploying scalable end-user applications
  • Experienced in at least one of the target systems
  • Able to gather and translate user requirements into technical implementations
  • Someone with excellent verbal and written communications skills 
  • With experience working with team members asynchronously 
  • Excited to work in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
  • An API whisperer :-)
  • Used to travel for business purposes

 

This role will be responsible for accessing U.S. federal government data classified as CUI NOFORN or above. Candidates must hold U.S. citizenship as required by U.S. laws.

Compensation and Benefits

The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training. Eligible roles may also be entitled to receive commission or other variable compensation through Dataiku's incentive compensation program.
