The Opportunity

We are seeking a security engineer to join our team and strengthen our cloud security protocols during the exciting launch of DatabookGPT, a platform set to revolutionize sales strategies with its advanced personalized account intelligence. Reporting directly to the Head of Privacy & Security, you will play a crucial role in shaping our strategic direction.

 

About the Role: 

You will join a strong Privacy and Security team and have remote team members. We are seeking someone with engineering skills who can strengthen our cloud security protocols and more. 

 

Working Arrangements:

This position offers a hybrid work mode, allowing employees to work remotely and in-office as mutually agreed upon.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information
  • Identify and define system security requirements
  • Ensure security implications are considered as we build new products, features and system architectures
  • Analyze AI use cases and recommend secure and trustworthy solutions to sponsors
  • Prototype AI and/or LLM-based tools to meet operational needs
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
  • Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
  • Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents
  • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement

About You

As a team focused on securing the innovative DatabookGPT platform, we are seeking a security engineer passionate about security and adept at tackling challenges in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Proven work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer
  • Experience in building and maintaining security systems
  • Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security
  • Hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
  • Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
  • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols, including emerging threats related to AI, generative AI, and LLMs
  • Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and network/web-related protocols
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field
