Role:  Experience Planner / UX

ROLE MISSION

Dare are looking for a mid-weight Experience Planner to join an ever-growing team in the London office. 

Our Experience Planners are a joyful collision of UX practitioner, digital strategist and behavioural scientist. We put audiences at the heart of everything we do, from identifying business opportunities to defining the UI so it's essential you have a keen interest in understanding and influencing human behaviour.  

 

We take a holistic approach to digital design, akin to that of a service designer. You will be involved in a variety of client projects to create strategic experience design output from conducting formative & evaluative user research, through to strategising & ideating, and onto the crafting of experiences that delight audiences and deliver results for the business.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

 You will join a team of mid-weight Experience in an ever-growing team in the London office. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Building and fostering strong relationships with your clients, engendering trust and confidence.
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative user research, as well as desk research to understand audience motivations and needs. 
  • Distilling business needs, market research and user insights into an experience strategy which could include artefacts such as personas, content audits, competitor analyses, experience principles and creative opportunities.
  • Supporting and eventually running workshops / collaboration sessions and present ideas to a varied audience of stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrating a knowledge and desire to investigate, innovate and develop emerging design, UX and technology trends.
  • Producing appropriate deliverables to bring ideas to life and define the experience for client and internal teams in a simple, easy to understand way. This could include user journeys, site maps, user-flows, wire frames and prototypes.
  • Using UX software to a high standard e.g., Sketch, In vision, Axure, OmniGraffle, pen and paper plus any you can introduce us to.
  • Have a strong focus on quality.

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Some experience with a key focus on UX 
  • Exemplary storytelling with strong, clear and concise communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven application of UCD principles and methodologies, with the ability to conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking
  • Proficient understanding of the latest tools and applications such as Figma, Miro, Sketch, In Vision 
  • Curiosity to explore ideas and concepts, as well as the enthusiasm to drive and deliver effective solutions.
