Role: Senior Designer (FTC - 6 months)

Location: London, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid working required, out of Client London Office)

 

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Senior Designer will be working in a truly collaborative environment alongside our creative team. Projects will vary in scale; from large international campaigns to smaller on-site activities and will range from digital banners, to print, OOH and Social. They will also be expected to be involved in art working assets that will roll out across multiple countries. 

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a design environment, with high-level technical skills, a razor-sharp eye for detail and is not flustered by tight deadlines. They need to be able to roll out campaigns for print, OOH, digital banners (html knowledge a big bonus, but not essential). In addition, they need to be comfortable creating new designs working from a brief and willing to help out with decks and ad hoc design requests. With this role there are a number of internal stakeholders as well as partner agencies to liaise with, so good communication skills and the ability to give concise and constructive feedback is essential.

  • You are an advocate for promoting positive sustainable behaviours and able to put a sustainability lens on the strategic and creative process.
  • You will be open and willing to attend Change the Brief training and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues.

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

Basic Qualifications:

  • A degree in a design discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years experience working within an advertising environment.
  • Experience artworking large scale multi-channel campaigns.
  • Stand out portfolio with examples of work across multiple channels and large scale campaigns, including social, OOH and digital.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and confident with keynote.
  • Strong communications skills both verbally and in written form.
  • Self-starter who is customer-obsessed, detail-oriented and an enthusiastic team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Global or multi-country experience.
  • Experience working with HTML banners.
  • Being able to speak additional languages would be a big plus but not a requirement.
