Lead Inventory Coordinator
Type of Work: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $19.50/hr.
Shift Availability: Open availability including mornings, days, nights, holidays and weekends.
Location: Bordentown, NJ

About the Role:
The Inventory Lead is responsible for receiving, counting, and managing inventory in compliance with state regulations as well as implementing the company's policies and operating procedures on inventory controls. The Inventory Lead assists in managing inventory which is maintained and tracked within the Metrc system, Dutchie POS, and/or state specific seed to sale tracking system to enhance the guest and patient experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure accurate inventory recording in all phases of the dispensary product’s lifecycle.
- Monitor dispensary transactions and ensure inventory records are accurate.
- Manage product intake; ensuring the product received matches the invoice and input the product into the POS system using the correct naming conventions.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts and inventory audits including full store monthly inventories.
- Follow written audit programs and physical inventory to ensure the integrity of company records.
- Log receipts and documentation to ensure accurate inventory accounts.
- Oversee inventory deliveries, including signing manifests and properly filing the documentation.
- Conduct inventory discrepancy investigations to determine root cause and initiate subsequent corrective action.
- Assess internal controls over inventory to identify deficiencies and recommend corrective action plans for continuous improvement.
- Advise team members on care and preservation of items received and stored.
- Audits menu platform regularly to ensure accuracy and adherence with state laws and regulations.
- Assist in managing consumables for both the dispensary and production facilities.
- Assist in scheduling of inventory team member schedules, as required.
- Assist in collecting, audit, and file required paperwork to ensure state compliance.
- Stay informed and knowledgeable about state and local laws, regulations and industry news.
- Travel Requirements: Up to 5% to help another local store on occasion, if needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1+ year(s) experience in retail and/or inventory environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to follow standard operating processes and procedures and work methodically.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow standard operating processes and procedures and work methodically.
- Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match.
- Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction.
- High level of integrity.
- Must be able to work retail hours: weekends, evenings, some holidays, and overnights, if needed.
- Cannabis knowledge – familiarity with cannabis products, strains, and related regulations is a plus.
- Ability to understand inventory management systems. Preferred knowledge around METRC or LEAF LOGIX.
