Cresco seeks a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer.  The ideal candidate is one with a deep, broad, and strong proven track record for designing, developing, and supporting highly available, high performing, robust and scalable API integrations.  Our team uses MuleSoft to deliver on key business objectives.  This is a critical hands-on role in developing enterprise integrations between systems within Cresco Labs as well as between Cresco Labs and Vendors and / or State Regulatory Systems.  You will own the full end to end lifecycle of designing solutions, writing code, testing, deploying, and supporting mission critical production systems.  This is a very critical hands-on role that will interact with business stakeholders, 3rd party vendors, contractors and internal development teams and evangelize solutions and ensure adoption of API integrations.


  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for all things MuleSoft and API Integrations
  • Mentor others in MuleSoft development technologies, tools, and processes
  • Quickly learns critical business needs and success factors on all initiatives
  • Provides hands-on solutioning and evangelizing the Enterprise API Integration Layer
  • Design, build, deploy, and support complex integration solutions on MuleSoft
  • Ensure the highest level of security and data privacy standards compliance in all solutions
  • Configure Mule runtimes, Gateway runtimes and connectors
  • Setup security models and policies for consumers and producers of API and catalog assets
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Any point environment issues
  • Collaborate and work with other programmers, vendors, contractors, information security engineers and cloud infra provisioning teams
  • Collaborate with vendors and other developers to quickly assess and resolve issues with an extreme emphasis on the speed of restoration of services to ensure an amazing customer experience
  • Designs and builds all solutions considering reusability, extensibility, and growth
  • Implements all solutions with test driven development using a CI / CD pipeline
  • Create and update key repositories with the latest API signatures and examples to ensure maximum understandability and usability of services
  • Quickly read and understand APIs in other systems in order to facilitate integrations
  • Understands and embodies an Agile approach when delivering
  • Delivers all solutions ensuring quality, completeness, and timeliness

  • 7+ years of integration development experience
  • 5+ years of experience in MuleSoft API development with MuleSoft API Manager
  • MuleSoft Certifications (MCD Developer)
  • Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint 4.x is a plus
  • Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in working on flows, sub-flows, connectors, flow controls, filters, REST/SOAP web services, API Design and Development using RAML/Swagger
  • Minimum of 7+ years of strong expertise working with XML, JSON, EXCEL, CSV, FLAT FILE formats
  • Experience designing, developing and supporting Java and Python based APIs
  • Experience in ESB and message integration techniques, like aggregation, transformation, dynamic routing, content-based routing, scatter-gather, etc., using Mule ESB
  • Experience in the design and implementation of Mule transactions, async flows, message filters, message translators, content enricher and integration patterns
  • Experience with the 3-layered approach to API-led connectivity with Experience, Process, and System APIs
  • Experience with MuleSoft DataWeave to create reusable transformations using functions, variables, and operators
  • Experience in API administration Configuring APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals and API analytics using MuleSoft API Manager
  • Experience in OATH2.0 and secure environment architecture and operations
  • Expertise in writing MUnit tests
  • Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodology
  • Experience with Salesforce and other cloud platform integrations
  • Experience in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) using GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo or similar frameworks
  • Solid knowledge of Postgres, SQL and understanding of relational databases
  • Can prioritize, multi-task and complete tasks within timelines
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving abilities
  • Have a passion for quality and writing clean code that scales and performs well
  • Superb communication skills, excellent problem-solving / analytical skills and sense of ownership
  • Expertise and experience with AWS and Azure
  • Cannabis industry experience is a plus
  • Integration with state compliance systems is a plus
  • Experience managing highly available systems and key KPIs of a mission critical system
