JOB SUMMARY
The Compensation Analyst for Cresco plays a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs to ensure competitive pay rates, equity among employees, and compliance. The ideal candidate for this position will have a keen understanding of compensation theory, labor market trends, and regulatory compliance. The Compensation Analyst will work closely with HR and management teams to ensure that pay practices are transparent, equitable, and support the organization's efforts to attract, retain, and motivate top talent in this dynamic and rapidly changing industry.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and business stakeholders on compensation matters to support business goals.
- Perform research and analysis on market competitiveness and compliance with legal regulations on pay.
- Assist in job evaluations to provide recommendations on FLSA status, internal equity, and market alignment.
- Manage the compensation survey submission process.
- Administer the company annual compensation processes including but not limited to bonus and merit cycles.
- Assist in HR projects from a compensation perspective such as merger and acquisition events.
- Assist in equity program administration.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Ability to communicate uncomplex and complex financial related information to a wide audience.
- Experience with an HRIS system (ADP, Ultimate Software, Ceridian, Workday)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and is flexible with changing priorities.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in compensation
