We are looking for an experienced sales person to join our sales team to focus on signing new business clients, targeting C-level/VP level executives from Fortune 500 companies. You will remain the commercial owner for the clients you sign and be responsible for expanding & upselling other products and capabilities. The Sales Director will take ownership of the complete sales cycle with support in sourcing qualified meetings via our Sales Development Representatives and Marketing teams. This type of role at an early startup requires an individual who can work in a fast paced environment, is able to propose solutions to the challenges they have and able to adapt their approach as the company grows and broadens its offering.
You'll be responsible for:
You will manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales.
Engage with current and prospect organizations to position CreativeX solutions through strategic value based selling, business case definition, return on investment analysis, references and industry data.
Establish and maintain direct relationships with senior level executives in target end-customer accounts
Record sales activity in SDFC, forecast and report regularly to the senior management team
Work collaboratively with the SDR, marketing, product and customer success teams
Provide input on opportunities for improving the effectiveness of the sales organisation
Proactively identify sales pipeline risks and develop mitigation plans
6 years + new business experience of selling SaaS solutions to enterprise organisations, ideally selling Marketing Tech
Experience working at a VC backed startup
Successful history of net new business sales (direct), with the ability to prove consistent delivery against targets of $1m+ ARR
Experience selling deals with an AOV of $100k+
Comfortable operating with data and not intimidated by analytics
Resourceful, hard working, and solutions oriented mindset -- you work to solve your own problems before asking for help
Credibility at all levels and evidence of building strong relationships internally and with the customer.
