We are seeking a very talented, resourceful and collaborative person to join our Technical Marketing Engineering (TME) team. This individual will guide users to understand our cybersecurity offerings by globally presenting Corelight's features through recordings, public speaking, authoring technical papers, blogging, and conducting webinars. 

Opportunity:

  • Help customers improve their cybersecurity posture
  • Showcase product features through use cases that highlight benefits to customers
  • Create/maintain technical marketing collateral: evaluation guides, blogs, technical resource papers, presentations, videos integration guides, and demonstrations
  • Design and implement technical solutions with partners
  • Understand our competitive space and how we relate
  • Assist in upskilling internal roles such as Sales Engineers by detailing our products and technologies, guiding them towards subject matter expertise
  • Influence others and be seen as a technical expert
  • Some travel is required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Zeek or Bro experience
  • Log analysis in a SIEM - such as Splunk, Elastic, LogScale, Sentinel, Chronicle 
  • Create product demo video recordings - Please provide links
  • 5 years of advanced network security experience
  • Scripting experience
  • Ability to demo a product
  • Highly analytical with the ability to derive facts quickly, methodically, and accurately
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoy experimenting with new technologies to design solutions
  • Ability to quickly develop deep technical knowledge of products
  • Robust problem-solving skills
  • Personal accountability
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Strong passion for continuous learning and growth

Preferred Qualifications:

    Demonstrated experience with:

  • Working in a startup environment
  • Public speaking - Please provide links
  • Public writing (blogs, resource papers) - Please provide links
  • Building and managing cloud infrastructure
  • Creating DevOps environments/infrastructure as code
  • Integrations with varied platforms using APIs
  • Detection engineering including writing Zeek, Suricata, or Snort detections
  • Incident response 
  • Threat Hunting
  • Packet analysis using Wireshark or other PCAP solutions
  • Other security products like SOAR, UEBA, and SASE
  • Holds relevant educational qualifications and/or certifications, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and expertise in the field
