About Sales at CE:

Sales is a high-growth opportunity at Consumer Edge. The sales process at CE has been refined over 6+ years working directly with clients and prospects to find the most efficient way to thoughtfully engage. Account Executives are responsible for growing revenue within their territory at or above company growth targets. They have an entrepreneurial mindset, treating CE as a platform that allows them to build their business. The products and services CE provides are nuanced and the audience is sophisticated. To successfully sell here, individuals are required to learn quickly, simplify complexity, and lean into results-based measurement.

The role you'll play:

The Account Executive at CE will drive results by taking a systematic approach to selling. This individual will take the lead on rapidly growing our financial services business within a defined territory and successfully close contracts with prospective clients. Reporting to the regional Director of Sales, the Account Executive will have the opportunity to utilize their own rolodex of contacts from the investment community to help bring in business for CE, will have tactful and effective executive selling methods and strong communication and relationship management skills. Your main responsibilities:

  • Leverage your contacts and experience to successfully build and maintain a sales pipeline
  • Manage the sales process from initial lead sourcing to signed contract
  • Expand relationships with existing clients and drive new logo growth
  • Work within the confines of the CE sales process to meet or exceed quota
  • Build and maintain a business plan to consistently outperform goals / initiatives
  • Be a good teammate and work with highest level of integrity
  • Maintain industry-specific knowledge to have credible conversations with clients and prospects

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A B.S. or B.A. from a top institution
  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience carrying a quota
  • A track record of results-based outperformance
  • Experience selling subscriptions, contracts required
  • Expertise prospecting into the investment community and working with financial service clients a MUST
  • Drive: no obstacle is too difficult to overcome, and no one needs to push you to excel
  • A passion for SaaS products & data driven decision making
  • Expertise with Salesforce, Excel, prospect databases
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (i.e. Customer Success, Research, Marketing, Product, etc.)
  • Tenacity and flexibility – will be open-minded to overcoming challenges, be solutions-oriented, is comfortable with ambiguity and is willing to roll up their sleeves
