The VP Product Management, Core Products is a strategic leadership role responsible for product strategy, delivery of a well-defined product roadmap, and seamless execution with engineering and product design.
This role is responsible for innovating to provide feature depth in key areas of digital marketing: Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Audience Growth tools to drive positive net revenue retention (NRR) for our customer base. This role will also drive our Platform/API set of capabilities to take our Ecosystem strategy to the next level.
Key elements of this role include ability to evaluate the data analytics to derive key insights for what’s working and what’s not for our users, to partner with our Market Intelligence and Product Marketing team to identify critical opportunities to stay ahead of the market, and to articulate a well-defined product roadmap that engineering can efficiently execute.
The ideal candidate will be equal parts innovator and executor, who can bring best-in-class product design solutions to market, and who has the business & financial acumen to deliver upon product led growth best practices.
The ideal candidate will also be an effective leader & communicator who can bring industry leading insights regarding using the latest advancement in artificial intelligence to life across the various product teams and their roadmaps.
What you'll do:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the execution of the core product strategy and roadmap to drive business growth.
- Macro-Trends Identification: Oversee the Product Management team in identifying macro-trends in business needs and software product requirements, focusing on the broader customer base.
- Strategic Goal Setting: Define and drive strategic product goals and initiatives that are directly tied to target User Personas, with superior communication skills to enable the team to understand important nuances and execute efficiently.
- Team Performance: Foster an environment of growth, innovation, and collaboration, ensuring product managers and their teams perform at high levels. Build on today’s test-and-learn philosophy and take it to the next level by mapping key micro experiences to user personas and intended outcomes.
- Initiative Prioritization: expertly take inputs from quantitative and qualitative sources, identify a clear set of decision making criteria, and drive the team to deliver a clear set of outputs: product requirements documents (PRDs), clear roadmap KPI’s, and financial targets.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Collaborate with functional, engineering, and product executives across the company.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Partners, and Professional Service teams to ensure customer requirements are fully met.
- Influence future business strategy at the leadership and executive level.
- People Management:

Who you are:
- Education:
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience:
- 15+ years of experience delivering SaaS products for external end-users, deep SMB experience across desktop and mobile.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Entrepreneurial experience managing multiple functions of an operation.
- Proven success in driving product strategy and product releases in a comparable environment.
- Experience in Agile development environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting is a plus.
- Skills:
- Expertise in product development from inception to market.
- Strategic thinker adept at creating or acquiring valuable, differentiating datasets to create business value.
- Extremely proactive leader with an ownership mindset. Strong commercial acumen and a bias for action. Ability to balance tradeoffs, prioritize for business impact, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes.
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative business analytics, including ability to turn quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations with measurable business impact.

- Proven track record of hiring and developing high-performing product teams.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence executive leadership.
