This role is located at our Santa Clara, CA headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write test plans that communicates goals, metrics, and measurements.
  • Develop test and processes to validate the performance of hardware and software.
  • Setup and test robots at the end of the production line.
  • Develop automation to test robots at end of production line.
  • Verify functionality of hardware and software before shipping to customers.
  • Support software feature testing.
  • Responsible for the software release testing process.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in software QA testing.
  • Experience with core QA methodologies, including creation of test plans and test cases, authorizing documentation, problem isolation techniques, regression testing, ad hoc testing, or systems integration testing.
  • Experience testing or debugging robots or equivalent robotic hardware systems.
  • Experience with bash, python or equivalent scripting languages. Experience working with ROS/ROS2 or equivalent robot software.
  • Highly motivated teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, collaborative and dynamic start-up environment as part of a small team.
  • Willing to occasionally travel.
  • Must have and maintain US work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years or experience in software QA methodologies.
  • Experience with software development for test.
  • Experience with Linux and C++.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira, Linear, etc.
  • Experience deploying automated testing for hardware systems.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000 plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and experience level. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in Santa Clara, CA. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
