What you’ll do:
As our first dedicated lifecycle marketing hire, you’ll help ClassDojo build and execute communications strategies that drive substantial and quantifiable business impact across our target audience segments. You will work with Growth, Marketing Operations, PMMs, Copy, and Creative, to define strategy and bring campaigns from idea to execution in short cycles to hit our 10x user and revenue growth goals.
You’ll understand our customers deeply and develop the campaigns that deliver them personalized and timely content based on the stage of their journey, quickly testing and learning across the lifecycle and sharing learnings across teams. This will include developing new triggered comms, improving current triggers, and developing a content calendar for batch sends throughout the month.
The channels you’ll own include email, push notifications, and in app messaging.
You will be a match if:
- You have at least 4 years of growth marketing experience
You might be a good fit if:
- You have 6+ years of growth marketing experience at a consumer brand, including building out lifecycle and engagement marketing campaigns
- You have experience across owned channels such as email, push, and in app notifications
- You can demonstrate a track record of developing and executing strategies that drive revenue and user growth in consumer companies
- You have a strong understanding of growth models, strategies, and tactics, including how to optimize activation, engagement, and retention loops
- You know how to leverage data and consumer insights to create delightful communication journeys that create a great consumer experience
- You have strong quantitative skills and comfort creating/refining hypotheses by exploring data.
- You have a strong understanding of engagement and retention metrics and campaign success metrics
- You know SQL or at least have a willingness to learn -- you have the ability to partner closely with Data Science to set up and evaluate experiments
- You have excellent written + verbal communication skills. You can clearly articulate complex technical information to cross-functional partners on product/engineering teams
- You can structure a problem to discover the best ways to solve it
- You work well in resource-constrained environments
- You move faster than is comfortable; an instigator
Bonus:
- You’ve run lifecycle for international as well as domestic campaigns
- You have worked for large scale consumer focused organizations
- You are familiar with subscription models, two sided marketplaces, or networks
- You have experience with story-telling, copywriting and brand-building
