Summer Internship Opportunity at Chatham Financial
Are you ready to dive into the world of capital markets advisory and make a meaningful impact? Join Chatham Financial's Summer Internship Program and gain hands-on experience. As an intern during our 10-week program, you'll integrate with Chatham’s dynamic client services and engagement teams, assisting consultants with day-to-day activities and contributing to projects that require critical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
What You'll Do:
- Work on projects involving interest rate and foreign currency risk advisory, valuation, reporting, analytics, structured finance, accounting, capital markets solutions, real estate investment banking, and commodities.
- Collaborate on team-wide initiatives such as constructing business intelligence dashboards based on client requirements, assisting in collateral management, trade loading and reporting, analyzing and manipulating data sets for client engagements, conducting market research, and preparing client presentations.
- Partner with other interns on a summer project with mentorship from subject matter experts. Past projects have included developing client business plans, researching financial risk management practices, SWOT analyses of services or products, and redesigning client education materials.
- Participate in weekly company meetings, team meetings, and social events designed to immerse you in Chatham’s culture and network.

What You'll Need:
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership aptitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate closely with other interns, team members and senior leaders.
- Quantitative skills with the ability to work with large data sets. Experience with statistical analysis and financial modeling is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn other tools and technologies as needed.
- Experience with additional tools or languages (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus.
- A service-oriented mindset and a desire to help others.
