ABOUT THIS TEMP POSITION
This is a temporary position and the length of assignment is estimated to go from June to October. The length of the assignment is always dependent on business need and dates may change. While the assignment would be at the Alliance, if selected, you would be an employee of a temporary employment agency that we would connect you with.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Reporting to the Health Services this position:
- Assists the Enhanced Care Management (ECM) team with providing health care coordination activities for Alliance members
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with provider offices, County departments and other community agencies, and internal stakeholders related to care coordination for members, disease management, and health education

- Knowledge of:

- Principles and practices of managed health care and health care systems and care coordination
- Principles and practices of customer service
- Windows based PC systems and Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Ability to:

- Clearly, completely, and independently document, summarize and resolve member’s concerns and inquiries, and recognize those issues that require escalation to a higher level
- Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks, coordinate activities, and adhere to timelines
- Effectively conduct telephone interviews in a confidential and sensitive manner
- Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience related to care coordination in a health care setting which involved interacting with members, patients and providers in meeting their service needs (an Associate's degree in Health, Social Services or a related field or current certification as a Medical Assistant may substitute for one year of the required experience); or a combination of education and relevant work experience may be qualifying
- Experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying
OTHER INFORMATION
- We are in a hybrid work environment, and we anticipate that the interview process will take place remotely via Microsoft Teams.
- While some staff may work full telecommuting schedules, attendance at quarterly company-wide events or department meetings will be expected.

The full compensation range for this position is listed by location below.
The actual compensation for this role will be determined by our compensation philosophy, analysis of the selected candidate's qualifications (direct or transferrable experience related to the position, education or training), as well as other factors (internal equity, market factors, and geographic location).
