The role you'll play:

CB Insights is seeking a motivated AR associate to join our growing Finance team that will help assist in billing and collection operations specific to the AR department. You will monitor accounts daily and taking actions in order to encourage timely payments. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple departments across several tasks’ integral to client and cross department relationships.

Your main tasks:

  • Generate invoices and confirm invoice delivery and acceptance
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients; track and escalate past due invoices
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries
  • Complete vendor onboarding tasks (website registration, document completion, etc) 
  • Catalog and update internal billing records for all clients
  • Be a point of contact for the sales team to field general payment and AR related questions
  • Update account status and prepare reports on progress of collection activities
  • Assist in streamlining our processes and creating standard operating procedures for future workflows
  • Help with ad-hoc requests

What you bring to the table:

  • BA/BS with 1-3 years related experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with Fortune 500 customers and international clients
  • Experience with excel, google sheets and familiarity with industry-standard software, such as Intact and Salesforce
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to handle potential tense interactions with clients and internal teams
  • Detail oriented with strong personal accountability
