The Team You’ll Work With Outbound Sales Representatives that join Carta are the driving force of Carta’s upward trajectory. Our OBRs launch targeted outreach campaigns to the executives of innovative start ups every day. We pride ourselves on investing in our team and promoting from within. All OBRs receive training on Carta software, private market finance, and equity administration along with ongoing training in consultative sales, client management, negotiation and sales operations. Prospect - Engage with companies who reach out to Carta with interest via our website, LinkedIn, and in-product
Outreach - Execute a thoughtful, "every lead matters" cold outreach campaign to investors in the venture space
Collaborate - Work with Carta Account Executives to secure meetings and follow deals through close
The Impact You’ll Have You’ll engage with CFOs, Founders, and Co-Founders to intimately understand their business and how Carta can help manage their equity programs. Carta SDRs become masters of opening doors in the venture community. About You
Track record of success in a lead generation role
The ambition and hope to achieve goals and advance a career in sales
Strong problem solving skills
Proven ability to execute in a fast paced, team environment with excellent time management
Excellent emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills
Articulate, poised, and concise
Customer-Facing Experience (direct prospecting experience is a plus)
2+ years of professional experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics OR 4+ years of professional experience in a related field
Experience in venture capital, private equity, institutional investing, or wealth management is strongly preferred
