The Business Operations team leads planning and delivery of key initiatives at Carta. The BizOps Manager, or Senior Manager for the right experience level, will take lead on high priority projects and drive them from analysis to execution. This person will be a great problem solver, communicator, and influencer.
The Business Operations team partners with product and business leaders to drive strategic analyses, optimize business performance, and deliver best-in-class execution. From evaluating new market and product opportunities to driving cross-functional initiatives, the Business Operations team formulates strategic recommendations with actionable insights that help make teams at Carta more productive and successful.
Deliver strategic projects and recommendations for our leadership that provide key business insights for high-priority initiatives and enable data-driven decision-making
Serve as the connective tissue across functional teams (including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance and other internal groups, etc.), working to share knowledge and drive people towards company goals and targets
Conduct in-depth analyses of our various businesses and develop deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities
Bring clear thinking and excellent problem-solving skills to top issues facing the business and product organization
Oversee business performance reporting and scale best practices across the organization
Manager: 3-5 years in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or other relevant experience
Senior Manager: 6-8+ years in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or other relevant experience
Motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to accelerate Carta’s growth
Comfort with data and ambiguity, and an ability to both delve into details and engage meaningfully on overall strategy
Ability to seek information, solve conceptual problems, corral resources and deliver results in challenging situations
Experience managing complex projects and programs while demonstrating exceptional business judgement
Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations, especially to executives
Superior financial modeling and presentation skills
Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, financial services, and/or fintech a plus
