Brooke Charter Schools is a network of four public charter schools, serving grades K-12 in Mattapan, Roslindale, and East Boston. The BCBA Role:
This is a part-time role
Conducts behavioral assessments (e.g., FBAs) as needed to identify the function of challenging behaviors.
Develops behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Collects and reviews treatment fidelity data to ensure consistent application of interventions.
May attend IEP meetings
Performs other related duties as requested by the Director of Student Support or Principal
Qualifications:
BCBA Certification
Experience working with students that have social, emotional, behavioral challenges in a public school setting
A shared dedication to the Brooke Charter School philosophy and mission
A commitment to ensuring academic success for all students
Ability to efficiently write comprehensive and informative FBA and BIPs that contain appropriate goals
Excellent skills in the areas of teamwork, oral and written communication, and organization
