We are looking for a rockstar individual to join our Technology organization to lead product management for Therapeutic Area-specific digital products.

Position Summary 

The Sr Director of Product Management has the overall responsibility for the successful strategy, definition, design, and launch of BrightInsight Platform and its associated product line extensions. The BrightInsight platform is a regulated Digital Health, cloud-based platform for the life science industry, and is used to manage, process, and store patient health and medical device data to be used for patient diagnosis and treatment. The platform is used as a foundation to build digital solutions including mobile apps, web apps, and web services that are considered software medical devices (SaMD).  You will lead the Platform Product team, driving the definition, release, and adoption of BrightInsight Platform and its associated product line extensions. You will work closely with BrightInsight's Marketing, Engineering, Professional Services, Commercial, Operations, Regulatory, Privacy, and Product teams and other internal stakeholders, while regularly interacting with our customers, who are the world’s top biopharma and medtech companies. In addition, you will be the main partner to Business Development and Marketing to identify market needs, understand customer requirements and define the most effective method to approach new opportunities. This is both a hands-on and cross-functional leadership role.

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll do:

  • Lead and manage Platform Product team to deliver platform releases for use by BrightInsight Professional Services team and our life science customers
  • Capture customer needs, define end user journeys, and design new product features for highly regulated software medical solutions
  • Own the product roadmap by collaborating with key stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services
  • Own business case of the product through deep understanding of strategy, value proposition, competitive landscape, and investment needs
  • Be an evangelist of BrightInsight’s value propositions and product capabilities with current and potential customers
  • Collaborate across a wide range of departments to drive design and development of digital products, including, but not limited to Engineering, Regulatory, Marketing, User Experience, Data Science, and Design Quality
  • Participate as the Product Owner in an Agile team, collaborating on priorities, sprint goals and sprint demos that deliver a releasable product at every sprint
  • Effectively communicate roadmap priorities, risks, roadblocks, interdependencies, or constraints strategically with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Make decisions and recommendations backed by data, evidence, and sound judgment
  • Be a consultative partner that expertly balances business and technical competence to help inform and influence problem solving, and establish a successful path forward

Here’s some of what you’ll need (required):

  • 7+ years of software product management for one or more SaaS platform, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • 5+ years of applied experience in development, release, and maintenance of software-based cloud-based products
  • 3+ years of team management experience of a product team
  • Demonstrated results for 2 - 3 solutions that were successfully released with millions of end users
  • Experience with mobile and web technologies
  • Experience with cloud-based software platforms (SaaS)
  • Experience with human-centered design and Agile development methodologies
  • Strong organizational, leadership, communications (written and verbal), problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in delivering software products in an FDA regulated environment is highly desirable
