Eligibility Requirements:
- Performance: You must be consistently meeting (or exceeding) the expectations in your current role. Employees evaluated as under-performers or who are on active corrective action plans are not eligible to apply for internal job postings.
- Qualification: You must meet the requirements and qualifications in the job description of the position for which you are applying.
- Tenure: Employee tenure requirements are based on whether the new position is within the employee’s current department or outside of the employee’s current department as follows:
- For positions inside the employee’s current department, the general guideline is that you must have a minimum of six (6) months tenure in their current position; however, department heads will have discretion to reduce this requirement. Employees meeting the first two criteria listed above are eligible to apply for a new role, either laterally or vertically, within their current department after receiving their manager and department head’s approval and after completing their sixth month.
- Positions outside of the employee’s current department require a minimum of twelve (12) months tenure in their current position. Employees meeting the first two criteria listed above are eligible to apply for a new role, either laterally or vertically, regardless of department or function upon completing their twelfth month in their current role.
