Blink Health is looking for an experienced Sr. IT Systems Engineer to join our IT Team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with various operating systems and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Plan and implement system upgrades and enhancements.
- Maintain and troubleshoot IT systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and securely.
- Work with the IT Help Desk team as a Tier 3 Support for users and other IT team members.
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and availability.
- Ensure software, hardware, and servers are maintained and managed per industry best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team and other departments to identify and implement solutions that support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies and best practices in IT systems administration.
- Develop and implement system automation and orchestration solutions to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- Provide after-hours support for IT systems incidents/emergencies as well as occasional weekend or off-hours maintenance.
- Collaborate with the Security Team to securely configure the IT systems, deploy patches, and manage vulnerabilities adhering to the SLA.
- Ensure compliance with HITRUST and PCI controls/regulations related to IT Security and Data Protection.
- Develop and maintain SOPs related to IT Systems.
- Develop and maintain Systems Engineering sections of IT CoE (Center of Excellence) Internal and External portals.
- Develop and maintain an overall IT architecture diagram, incorporating all IT functions and services.
- Monitor and audit the usage of IT Systems to ensure optimal usage, licenses, and costs.
- Continuously monitor the market for emerging tools & technologies and evaluate its applicability and alignment with Blink IT. Propose acquisitions for new, replacement, or consolidation of tools and technologies. Champion implementations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- Relevant IT systems certifications desired (Microsoft, AWS, Google, Apple).
- Experience with managing Microsoft 365, Domain Controllers, Active Directory (on-prem and Azure), GPO, DHCP, RADIUS.
- Experience with managing Windows Servers/Laptops, Linux Servers, MacOS devices.
- Experience in deploying and managing system patches and versions upgrades using automated patching tools.
- Experience with Device Management tools (Intune, Jamf).
- Experience with managing Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira/Confluence, and Zoom.
- Experience with Print Server management.
- Experience with SSL certificate management.
- Experience with AWS cloud management.
- Experience with Storage and Server Virtualization technologies. (NAS, VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
- Experience with managing security vulnerabilities in IT environments.
- Familiarity with on-prem and AWS cloud Networks.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Must be well organized and can manage multiple projects of varying lengths.
- Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete the task independently.
- Strong focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and documentation.
