The Mortgage Services team is on a mission to remove friction by building a 10x loan officer experience. To achieve this, we are building a platform that supports core tools lenders need to start, qualify, and close loans in a unified Blend portal.
As an engineer on the team, you will have the opportunity to contribute and lead new high-impact projects(fees, loan data sync, mortgage insurance integrations) that are critical to driving lender adoption. We are a diverse team of full-stack and backend engineers working closely with Product and Design to deliver on new initiatives to delight ourcustomers. We are looking for strong engineers to helpbuild this vision and have fun doing it!
How you'll contribute:
You’ll work onloan-officer facing functionality that provides critical market differentiation for Blendlike rate-lock, fees, pricing engines, and loan estimates.
You’ll contribute to our Service Provider Integration(SPI) framework so that Blendcan build integrations with third-party data providers in a scalable and maintainable way
You’llhelp scale our systems to account for our rapid growth.
Who you are:
3+ years of experience working on high-quality production software in a full stack role
Excellent communication and leadership skills for collaborating with other teams
Solid experience and understanding of maintainable distributed systems
Ability and willingness to help others succeed and be productive
