Blacklane is looking for an awesome Strategy & Operations Manager to join our EMEA team based in Berlin, leading our German markets.

If you're a data-driven dynamic individual with a knack for relationship building, negotiation and problem solving, then we'd love to set up a call. Your challenge is to develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize our markets and enable them to grow rapidly, but sustainably. You will have the chance to have a major impact on some of our highest priority markets and work with great people from all around the globe!

YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • You will develop and operationalize a regional strategy that blends our global standards with the local needs of your markets.
  • You will manage and improve the cost, quality, and availability from our supply partners (professional chauffeurs) within your markets.
  • You will analyze data and performance metrics to optimize fulfillment, margin, and quality within your markets.
  • You will ensure the successful account management of supply partners in your designated markets.
  • You will develop and own relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • You will drive cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance operational performance.
  • You will be responsible for doing quality checks on the ground within your markets and conducting regular business reviews with key supply partners.
  • You will work to make Blacklane the preferred partner of supply partners in your markets by working relentlessly to understand their needs and identifying how to reduce their operational costs.

 ABOUT YOU:

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations or similar role in a fast paced environment. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for problem solving and a creative mindset. 
  • An eye for operational efficiency and the ability to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Experience owning KPIs, goals or roadmap initiatives. 
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • Proficiency in Tableau is a plus.
