As Head of Digital Marketing at Beekeeper you will help shape our overall demand generation marketing strategy to drive growth across all target business segments and regions. The ideal candidate is a data-driven performance marketer with strong leadership and project management skills. We expect a strong track record in all kinds of digital programs for B2B SaaS businesses: web, social, email, and CPC/CPL programs. This Sr. Director will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from field marketing, growth, sales, content, and product marketing teams to launch integrated digital campaigns, drive continuous optimization, and pipeline growth.
We’re looking for both a leader and a collaborator who can help define what needs to be done and then execute it in an environment characterized by flexibility, data-driven curiosity, and teamwork.
- Lead the digital marketing team, including web, social, paid CPC/CPL, and email automation
- Creates a demand generation strategy that aligns with regional marketing and sales leadership to achieve pipeline goals
- Spearheads, strengthens, and oversees the digital marketing team’s contribution to our ABM strategy
- Drive conversion optimization across all channels and programs
- measure, assess and identify ways to improve performance of digital marketing programs
- Drive innovation and modernization of our digital marketing footprint to find new ways to reach, engage, and convert our target audience: across web to email, social & paid.
- Manage budget across global channels & regions, and optimize spend constantly.
- Drive growth of organic traffic across targeted regions through on-page SEO, off-page SEO and technical SEO
- Optimize performance of our outbound marketing programs to support our ABM strategy
What we look for in you
- BS/BA Degree and at least 6+ years of experience in a performance or digital marketing position in a fast-paced SaaS business
- Proven experience in managing remote teams and a multi-year track record of achieving targets
- Data-driven marketer who loves analyzing large and complex data-sets in order to realize appropriate strategies to optimize programs and campaigns.
- Extremely proficient in formulating SEO and SEM strategies
- Great communicator who can articulate complex information in a simple and clear manner
- Strategic thinker who loves to execute and deliver results.
- Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to accurately specify project timeframes, dependencies, milestones and risk factors
- Great collaborator & team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills
- Successful track record leading a cross functional team from the beginning to the end of a project, achieving challenging targets and driving innovation
- Team player with excellent communication skills in English (mandatory) and German fluency (optional)
- Experience managing marketing agencies and freelancers
- Ability to manage other digital tools and technologies: ZoomInfo, Drift, Zapier, Scripts, HTML, CSS
