The Role:

We're currently seeking a motivated and passionate Clinical Operations Manager to join our team. As the Clinical Operations Manager, you'll play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Clinical Care team's operations. Your primary focus will be on building and improving the systems and tools the Arine Clinical Care team uses to deliver excellent, scalable services outcomes for Arine’s customers. You will be responsible for owning the complementary foundations of Arine’s Clinical Care team, which is the team that uses the Arine platform to deliver high quality clinical outcomes for our health plan customers. As Clinical Operations Manager, you will deliver these results by partnering with Arine’s Lead Clinical Pharmacists and Support Leads to understand the drivers of scalable success in their programs, and to identify and act on opportunities for improving their outcomes and efficiency.

The Clinical Operations Manager reports to Arine’s Head of Operations. 

Key Responsibilities:

Incentive Structure:

  • Design and implement incentive programs to motivate and reward team members for achieving performance targets and delivering exceptional service

Technology Optimization:

  • Optimize the utilization of tools such as Five9 for call center operations, scheduling software, and other third-party technologies to streamline workflows and improve productivity

Capacity Planning:

  • Conduct capacity planning exercises to ensure adequate resources are available to meet service demands and optimize team performance

Performance Measurement and Communication:

  • Evaluate and improve the system by which Arine’s Clinical Care team measures and communicates progress toward project outcomes, evaluates individual performance, and ties these measurements to coaching, incentives, and culture

Team Strengthening:

  • Strengthen the Arine Clinical Care team’s approach to identifying, interviewing, and hiring new team members
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge, enabling them to deliver high-quality clinical care consistently

Collaboration and Prioritization:

  • Scale and improve the Clinical Care team’s practices for synchronizing and prioritizing work with Arine’s Product and Engineering teams

Customer Communication:

  • Scale and standardize the Clinical Care team’s practices for communicating project performance to customers

Our Ideal Candidate Possesses:

  • A track record of leadership of pharmacy project call center or related operations in a highly entrepreneurial environment
  • 4-6 years experience with pharmacy adherence, CMM, MTM or similar projects. Non-pharmacy background is also acceptable
  • Familiarity with or eagerness to learn the approaches of high performing clinical pharmacy programs (applicants with a licensed pharmacist background are welcome and encouraged!)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance team performance and efficiency
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, and communicate and collaborate with executives, Operations, or Technology teams
  • Excellent collaboration, attention to detail, problem solving, business acumen, communication, leadership skills, and investigative skills
  • Robust quantitative and analytical capabilities, including fluency with Excel
  • Familiarity with call center technologies such as Five9, scheduling software, and other relevant tools
  • Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions in order to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Eagerness to learn new skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Travel and Other Information:

  • For candidates local to the San Francisco Bay Area, the ability to commute to our office on Market Street in San Francisco at least 2-3 days/week

Remote Work Requirements:

  • An established private work area that ensures information privacy

The posted range represents the expected salary for this position and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package (including bonus and equity), benefits, and perks. Ultimately, the final pay decision will consider factors such as your experience, job level, location, and other relevant job-related criteria. The salary range for this position is: $130,000-145,000/year.

Information Security Roles and Responsibilities:

All staff at Arine are expected to be part of its Information Security Management Program and undergo periodic training on Information Security Awareness and HIPAA guidelines. Each user is responsible to maintain a secure working environment and follow all policies and procedures.
