As the Test Lead for Group Data, you will act as lead point of contact and test expert, reviewing the capabilities of our existing systems. This role will be responsible for conducting requirement analysis, defining the overall test strategy/design, and lead execution to guarantee quality deliverables. In this position, you will ensure an optimal test environment, capable of replicating real-world scenarios. Primary Responsibilities:
- Hands-on leadership who will actively participate with Agile teams to lead offshore testing resources with both the current and future state of test activities - including (but not limited to) functional, integration, automation and regression testing
- Day to day management of end-to-end testing support for our enterprise data warehouse, including but not limited to:
- Creation of detailed data test strategy/plan (and documentation related to the software test life cycle) to support ongoing program efforts
- Collaborate with team members to provide effective creation of test cases and plans into each sprint cycle
- Design and implement test accelerators that align with our team vision to increase automation within the testing function
- Work with global testing and group data functions to develop/implement/maintain best practices for data/ETL testing
- Participate in complex design and technical discussions (if required)
- Provide leadership/guidance to off shore team members
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of relevant experience
- At least 3+ years experience as a QA Analyst/Tester/Lead (or similar QA role) with a focus on ETL and Automation testing
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency with Cloud technologies (AWS)
- Proficiency with ETL/Automation tools (current Argo tools include QuerySurge, Talend, Attunity)
- Driven and passionate about software testing and Agile methodologies
- Ability to work in a fluid environment with ongoing change and partner with colleagues to achieve objectives
- Ability to work and make judgments independently and act to solve testing related issues
- Demonstrate a professional attitude and ability to lead by example
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage effectively in a high volume, goal-oriented environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
