Job Overview:

As a Sales Engineer at Arena, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our sales initiatives. You will work closely with our sales team, leveraging your technical expertise to understand customer needs, demonstrate product capabilities, and provide pre-sales support. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping customers achieve their goals through innovative solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Consultation: Support sales in exceeding quarterly quotas through solution selling. Co-sell on strategic opportunities, attend customer meetings and become a trusted advisor to prospects.

 

  1. Product Demonstrations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of Arena's offerings, addressing technical inquiries and concerns.

 

  1. Solution Design: Work closely with customers to design and propose tailored solutions, ensuring alignment with their technical requirements and business objectives.

 

  1. Pilot Support: Assist in the implementation of pilot projects, providing technical support and troubleshooting to ensure successful adoption of Arena’s solutions.

 

  1. Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success, to ensure seamless communication and a unified approach to customer satisfaction.

 

  1. Expansion: Drive annual upsell expansion revenue by maintaining deal coverage during implementation and driving long-term account success.

 

  1. Training: Develop and deliver training sessions for internal teams and customers, ensuring a deep understanding of Arena's products and their value proposition.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar; advanced degree is a plus.
  2. Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in technical sales.
  3. Technical Skills: Good understanding of any programming language and cloud infrastructure; ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  4. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  5. Customer Focus: Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
  6. Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work seamlessly within cross-functional teams.
