ABOUT THE ROLE

In brief

• 15 employees across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane
• You will sit in the Scouting function, reporting to the VP Scouting & Marketing 
• You will directly identify, nurture and drive the best founders in Australia to join Antler
• You will support Scouting interviews, operations and other activities to drive top-of-funnel founder recruitment
• Based in Sydney, you will be responsible for leading owned events and attending meetups and conferences

In detail

• Support the local Scouting strategy to attract, assess and secure top founder talent which will involve
• Headhunting strategies: market mapping to identify, nurture, and convert top talent
• Run targeted campaigns: unearth where latent founder talent sits and deliver messaging to them that will attract them to entrepreneurship and Antler
• Assess applications: we receive thousands of applications, you will be part of the interviewing team. To do this well you need a love for uncovering examples of grit, resilience and spikes. Plus curiosity in early-stage business ideas.
• Supporting the end-end execution of AMA sessions to educate and convert founders
• Collaborate with Marketing on content creation and partnership opportunities
• Be a powerful brand ambassador establishing Antler as a premier place to find a co-founder and build a business within founder groups and communities

• Support our residency and portfolio companies in setting the foundations of their Talent functions

REQUIREMENTS

• “Plugged-in” to the tech/startup community and have an active network in tech
• A natural people person with a curiosity to uncover top founder talent and ideas
• Have high EQ which leads you to forge trusting relationships quickly
• Have comfort operating in ambiguity
• 1-3 years professional experience in a related area
• Sydney based
• Experience in either start-up sales/operations or talent acquisition is a plus

Prefered but not essential:

• Knowledge of Hubspot, LinkedIn Recruiter and/or comparable tools
