About the Role: 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Manager - BOM specializing in Bill of Materials (BOM) management to join our team. As the Senior Product Manager - BOM, you will play a critical role in establishing capabilities in Altium 365 that allow customers to oversee the end-to-end BOM process, ensuring accurate and efficient management of product structures, components, and associated data. This is a US-based remote position with the option for a hybrid work arrangement, ideal for those residing in proximity to our La Jolla, CA office who prefer a mix of remote and office-based work.

A Day in The Life of Our Senior Product Manager - BOM: 

  • Work with R&D software engineers to advance cloud-based data management and data communication solutions. Stay on top of evolving EDA & BOM technology trends and customer needs.
  • Generate ideas by bringing the customer’s view into product development through open communication with enterprises, industry partners, and end-users 
  • Create and build out the product vision and roadmap to share and communicate with the team and stakeholders
  • Work across units to bring everyone on board by helping them understand the product and strategy. 
  • Customer adoption is a priority. Have a get-to-market strategy that gives Marketing, Development, QA, Support, and Sales the tools and support they need for the next successful Altium product launch. 

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager, with a focus on Bill of Materials management in an electronics supply chain, SaaS technology environment
  • Strong understanding of product development, supply chain, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with BOM management software and PLM systems; proficiency in ERP systems is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Strategic thinking with a customer-centric mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and drive consensus
  • PCB design and electronic design automation software experience is a plus

The salary range for this role is $170,000.00 - $230,000.00. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
