About the Role: 

We’re looking for a Director of Product Management to lead the development of new Generative AI capabilities that will power the discovery experience in AlphaSense. You will collaborate closely with our AI team to develop our next-generation Search & AI platform and with our UX, Engineering, Marketing and Sales teams to launch game-changing Generative AI experiences including summarization and chat. In addition to exceptional & high-velocity product management and execution, success in this role is dependent on a deep technical foundation with the latest AI models & approaches as well as being highly self-motivated, data-driven, well-organized, always open to feedback/critique, & extremely collaborative.

Who You Are:

  • 7+ Years in Product Management with significant experience leading Search and/or AI products
  • A Subject Matter Expert: You have expertise with large language model development, vector search, document search, embeddings and other relevant technologies. You are as comfortable developing technology platforms as end-user features
  • A Technologist at Heart: You have a computer science degree and/or relevant experience working as a software engineer and you are passionate about keeping up with the latest AI Research
  • Data-oriented: You are an expert at making cases with data, with boundless curiosity about our users & what makes them successful
  • An Advocate for the User: You possess the ability to articulate the Why behind product features in order to inspire and align your team
  • Excellent communication, organization skills & experience working closely with Designers & Engineers. You write world-class documentation to communicate product requirements and understand how to bridge the gap between vision, roadmap and phased product releases
  • Experience within the financial domain, specifically market research is a plus

What You’ll Do: 

  • Identify top customer problems, define and communicate long-term vision and product roadmap to solve these problems, influence overall company vision and set measurable goals for your product portfolio
  • Collaborate with AI & Search Platform teams to define their roadmaps and provide input on ML/LLM development approaches and experiments
  • Develop AI training strategy along with our AI engineering team to drive continuous improvement to AI models and design feedback loops in product that meaningfully impact model learning
  • Regularly talk to customers to understand their use cases and leverage feedback to support roadmap creation. Support Sales in meetings with senior leadership at clients and prospects to help close deals
  • Write excellent Product Strategy, Design Briefs, Product Requirement Documents, Launch Plans and other assets to communicate and drive consensus across cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with Engineering and UX to translate PRDs into well-defined and understood executable tasks
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to prepare feature launches and monitor, measure and communicate outcomes

Base Compensation Range*:  $215,000 - 250,000

Additional Components: You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.

*For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
