Job Description
We are currently seeking a professional to join our team as an Agroforestry Coordinator to be based in Kabwe. You You will collaborate with the agroforestry lead to oversee seedling production, including nursery establishment, training, and monitoring, to meet program demand. You will report to the Agroforestry Lead, and you will play a key role in contributing to our mission of driving positive change in agroforestry practices and making a meaningful difference in the lives of farmers.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Nursery processes and training: Refine and develop nursery processes and timelines administer trainings on seedling production and agroforestry best practices to nursery managers and clients throughout the season.
- Monitoring and control: Adapt and implement a monitoring mechanism to track and oversee the execution of important milestones
- Research and implement trials: Collaborate with external experts and other One Acre Fund countries to research and implement trials to better implement the seedlings program
- Support strategic prioritization: Work with both the department lead and One Acre Fund leadership to prioritize resources and make financially sound project recommendations.
Top Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Forestry/Agroforestry or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in tree nurseries and forestry extension
- Experience with agroforestry training and tree disease and pest management
- You have a track record managing people and projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
