Job Description
One Acre Fund is looking for a Flex Manager / Director to provide temporary and critical support to the DRC program on a wide range of tasks. Ultimately, you will oversee activities in the country and provide strategic guidance to the implementing team to ensure compliance with donor requirements. This role is a maternity and sabbatical cover.

Key Job Responsibilities
Donor relations
- You will lead technical relations with the program donor, respond to requests for information, and coordinate with the ground team to gather necessary data points
- You will work with the business development team towards closing deals and ensure funding review is happening on time
- You will ensure compliance of activities with donor expectations and requirements
Develop and coach teams:
- You will define people's needs and build teams who can execute the program vision, taking a leading role in overseeing the hiring and recruitment process
- You will offer guidance, mentorship, and encouragement to foster collaboration and innovation
- You will foster collaboration and ensure alignment among various departments
Business administration

You will oversee the effective financial management of program activities, including budgeting, and resource allocation, ultimately driving financial sustainability and accountability.
Top Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience, working on development or humanitarian interventions, with a focus on agriculture, environment, forest protection, cash/voucher assistance, or rural livelihoods
- 3+ years of field experience managing large programs
- Strong team leadership experience with diverse multi-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrated experience working with ministries and donors
- Added advantage: Good knowledge of French

Eligibility
One Acre Fund can support a work permit for this role. However, nationals of (or those with an extensive professional background and work history in) our countries of operation are preferred.
