Job Description
The Finance Advisory Services (FAS) team is a dedicated group of in-country and global associates. We serve as trusted advisors to organizational leadership teams, specializing in financial strategy and sustainability. We guide company-wide budgeting, strategic planning, and financial reporting functions. Our ultimate aim is to ensure financial sustainability, and enhance our overall impact.
As a Financial Advisory Services Associate, you will support the Malawi and Zambia programs in financial analysis, budgeting and reporting. You will also collaborate with the Global Finance team in cascading financial policies and tools.
You will report directly to the Global FAS Senior Manager

Key Job Responsibilities
- Support Financial Planning and Analysis
- You will manage the annual budget and monthly forecasts in collaboration with department heads
- You will provide support to leadership in making data-driven strategic decisions
- You will develop financial models and reports to support decision-making
- Lead the Financial Reporting and Monitoring
- You will lead the preparation of accurate financial reports and margin analysis
- You will maintain financial dashboards for monitoring budget vs. actual performance and recommending remedial actions.
- Strategic Planning Support:
- You will support the country director to develop strategic plans and and help in prioritizing objectives
Top Skills and Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in consulting, finance or finance analysis
- A sound understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis and Financial Reporting
- Logical thinker & comfort with analysis - can use quantitative analysis to create insights and inform recommendations
- Solid understanding of using advanced formulas in Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or another related field
