You will support the organization by providing reliable, safe, and on-time services to One Acre Fund staff and visitors, as well as inputs and goods, as delegated by your manager, and ensure the highest standards of integrity and responsibility

Will this position be managing others?

Key Job Responsibilities

Support the organizational logistics by driving OAF staff, officials, visitors, inputs, goods and documentation to and from different work related destinations
Always ensure the safety and custody of your vehicle, people, and items you may transport: These items includes all tools, luggage, equipment, spare parts, and any inputs or official One Acre Fund documents you may transport.
Demonstrate a client-oriented approach, courtesy, and show the ability to work with people of different national and cultural background
Maintain daily records for vehicles, logging all trips, recording mileage, fuel usage
Complete routine vehicle maintenance and safety checks, and report any problems to your manager

Top Skills and Qualifications

3 years of experience as a driver with a valid class B drivers license (both automatic and manual)
Minimum MSCE certificate
A high degree of punctuality and reliability is required.
First Aid, fire safety and minor vehicle repair skills.
Knowledge of driving rules and regulations, chauffeur protocol and courtesies, and local roads and conditions
Fluency in verbal English and chichewa.
