Key Job Responsibilities
- Support the organizational logistics by driving OAF staff, officials, visitors, inputs, goods and documentation to and from different work related destinations
- Always ensure the safety and custody of your vehicle, people, and items you may transport: These items includes all tools, luggage, equipment, spare parts, and any inputs or official One Acre Fund documents you may transport.
- Demonstrate a client-oriented approach, courtesy, and show the ability to work with people of different national and cultural background
- Maintain daily records for vehicles, logging all trips, recording mileage, fuel usage
- Complete routine vehicle maintenance and safety checks, and report any problems to your manager
Top Skills and Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a driver with a valid class B drivers license (both automatic and manual)
- Minimum MSCE certificate
- A high degree of punctuality and reliability is required.
- First Aid, fire safety and minor vehicle repair skills.
- Knowledge of driving rules and regulations, chauffeur protocol and courtesies, and local roads and conditions
- Fluency in verbal English and chichewa.
